Tilapia Fillet with Spinach Cranberry Tomato Salad

Eating healthy meals everyday is very important to your health. However, finding the time to prepare these meals is the issue. I love preparing ‘protein with salad’ type of meal after going to the gym — it’s fast to make and delicious! Foods high in protein help build muscles and vegetables are of-course, important sources of many nutrients.

Ingredients:

spinach  – just a handful                             garlic basil salad dressing – Evoo

orange flavor cranberries                          apple cider vinegar – Bragg

coconut oil                                                     one tomato – chop into little cubes

seasonings – pepper, salt, cayenne, garlic powder

Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Heat coconut oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tilapia fish, and cook until browned about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Sprinkle pepper, salt, cayenne and garlic powder to taste.

2. Prepare the salad by combining spinach, cranberries and chopped tomatoes on a plate.

3. The key ingredients into making this salad amazing are dressing. Add 1 tsp. of apple cider vinegar and 2 tbsp. of garlic basil salad dressing on your salad. Using your hands, mix them all together.

4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Parmesan on top of the salad. And tada! You are all done. This recipe will only take you 15 minutes to make. I love this healthy recipe. It’s very easy to make and does not take too much of your time.
